Damaged Pine Limb Removal

A pine had broken limbs hanging in its dense upper canopy, a typical result of wind and ice. A climber worked up through the branches to reach the damaged wood, cutting each broken limb back cleanly and lowering it. The close-up photos show fresh cuts where hanging pieces were removed and the healthy crown left in place.
